Herbarium Collection - Rosa Rugosa

This hand-carved linoleum block print series was built from a personal collection of pressed flowers, plants and leaves.

This Rosa Rugosa specimen was collected by Beaulne Stream in the Laurentians and was carved during a residency in Copenhagen in 2024. Rosa Rugosa has become widely naturalized in many parts of the world, including North America and Europe, due to its hardiness and adaptability. It is valued for its resilience, fragrant flowers, and attractive rose hips. 

It is printed to order on beige pacon paper with linseed oil inks in tones of burgundy and rose and measures 45cm x 30cm.
